REMEMBER – don’t prune your Elm trees from April 1 to August 31. Freshly pruned Elm trees attract Elm Bark Beetles – which spread Dutch Elm Disease. Dutch Elm Disease is a fungus that kills Elm trees by clogging its water-conducting vessels. For more information about Dutch Elm Disease click here.
